FENNEL WHOLE (SAUNF)
Crunchy, flavourful, and refreshing, Mewa Basket Ayurvedic fennel seeds are highly nutritious and provide many essential nutrients. The pale greenish seeds have a faint smell and a cooling effect. They resemble cumin or jeera in size and shape, but fennel is a different spice altogether. This seed spice dominates a variety of our preparations.
The seeds are used to flavour broths, baked goods, soups and even beverages like tea. Fennel seeds go amazingly well with salads, especially cucumber salad. They are considered exceptionally useful for lactating mothers. A common practice in most Indian households is to have a few fennel seeds or sauna at the end of every meal.
